Travel Information:
Students are responsible for their transportation to UW-Madison (budgeted from the Boren award stipend).
Dane County Regional Airport in Madison, WI is the closest airport to campus. The University is 20 minutes from the airport by Uber/Taxi. Also consider when coming to UW-Madison: Milwaukee’s Mitchell Airport and Chicago’s O’Hare Airport. Both have regular bus routes that run from the airport to UW-Madison’s campus.
Housing Information:
SAFLI students will be housed in Barnard Hall in single occupancy rooms.
For 2024 summer program:
- Move-in Date: June 16, 2024
- Move-out Date: August 10, 2024

“What Bucky would bring to Campus” is a list for students who will be moving in during August. SAFLI students may not need everything that is on the list, but it’s a good starting place.
